720p Full Form
(1280x720 Pixels, progressive)
720p is a High Definition (HD) standard that defines a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The ‘p’ in the name stands for progressive, in contrast to interlaced High Definition (HD) standards that are marked with an 'i' designation. Progressive scan is better than interlaced because it processes the images twice as fast. This faster scan rate produces better clarity and color.
